“The cave you fear to enter holds the
treasure you seek.”

— Joseph Campbell

CAMH defines “trauma” as the lasting emotional response that often results from living through a distressing event. Experiencing a traumatic event can harm a person's sense of safety, sense of self, and ability to regulate emotions and navigate relationships.

Whether you’re experiencing symptoms following a single event, an ongoing/complex situation, or as the result of a stressful childhood, there is help.
I utilize active and introspective techniques, tailored to your needs, so you can get back to feeling like your self again.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

I am excited to offer this powerful approach. Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a highly effective and evidence-based eye movement therapy that involves changing the way distressing images and memories are stored in the brain. ART utilizes rapid eye movements in combination with other traditional psychotherapies to change the way we think about and feel in response to negative experiences. ART’s very specific and directive approach can achieve rapid recovery from symptoms and reactions that may have been present for many years, often in as little as 1-5 sessions.

Effective with Post-Traumatic Stress, Depression, Phobias, OCD, Anxiety, Addiction, Grief.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
or “Parts Work”

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapy approach which acknowledges that we are complex beings with many different parts. Using deep internal inquiry, we can begin to see that even the most destructive behaviors or distressing feelings have purpose and intentions to serve or protect us. By working to understand your inner system and reconnecting to the wisdom that is within all of us, harmony and balance are restored. We can connect with parts of us in need of healing and experience profound internal shifts.
